Join My 21 Day Challenge!

inspirational quotes on a planner
Change your habits, change your life.

It’s a new year! Change your habits, change your life when you join my 21 day challenge. Who doesn’t want to live better? Believe it or not….it’s your choice. Life is full of choices and every day we choose who we are going to show up to be. This year, I’m focusing on showing up with more joy by taking ACTION. That’s going to be my word for the year. What about you?

Someone told me once that I should be a health coach. I’m laughing because I’m not a ‘physically’ active person. I don’t always eat the right things or exercise. Good genes run in my family. I’ve been pretty fortunate to have good health –But I could be a spiritual coach or a personal development coach. I love helping and teaching others.

Goals

So that got me thinking about goals for 2022: I plan to spend more time with friends and family in one on one conversations to challenge each other to live life to the fullest by creating better habits in our days. What goal or goals do you have for this year? What is something you’d like to improve in your life? Write them down. Keep them somewhere where you can see them often.

Let’s take a look at what we are currently doing throughout our day. Here’s my time tracker worksheet that you can print off and fill out. This is going to show you exactly what you do in a 24-48 hour period. Be honest about it and fill it out. Every 15 minutes you write down what you’re doing, eating, drinking, sleeping etc. for a 24 hour period.

Next, we’re going to see what areas need improvement. We use 3 questions: What works, what doesn’t and what can we do differently? We are going to pick 3 things that need improving. Drink too much soda? Not enough water? Stay up too late watching tv? Not enough reading time? Eat out too much? Don’t feel like planning meals? There are so many things we can improve on and change.

Changing our habits is about discipline and after 21 days of being intentional and disciplined, the habit soon becomes a routine which then becomes part of who you are. It sounds so simple, right? It’s not really that easy, but that’s why we are going to start small. If we can incorporate 3 new habits or even one and win the day, then that is a success. We can do anything if we just get a little confidence going with a small win!

Take ACTION

So choose 3 habits you want to incorporate. Just 3, but we’re going to do them every day for 21 days, consistently. What are you going to choose? I’m going to choose to drink more water, half my weight in water, every day. I know I don’t drink enough. I’ve also done a little research on supplements and I’m going to incorporate taking extra vitamins for 21 days. And for my third habit, I’m going to post a quote every day for 21 days on my Facebook page. I want to challenge others to live life to the fullest.

Get out your new 2022 calendars or planners and schedule it in there. Mark off the 21 days you’ll be participating. Keep track and stay disciplined. 21 days is doable!. When you finish that 21 days, do it again and pick 3 more habits. Keep going.

If joining my 21 day challenge sounds like something you would be interested in, drop me a comment below. I’d love for you to join me. It’s encouraging to do things with others, to be held accountable. If you know me and live in my area, I will be more than happy to meet with you and get together over lunch or even just coffee to talk and encourage you in creating new habits, which happens to be one of my goals for the year!

Happy New Year, friends. Let’s make it the best one yet! Life is short, we have to live it well! God bless.–Barb
