The World Is a Better Place

The world is a better place. Where are you in it?

The world is a better place because you are in it. Do you believe it? You are loved by an Almighty God. How can you make it a better place for others?

I can’t explain it but I’ve always felt loved by God, how about you? Thinking back over events in your life, is there a time when you felt God was with you, helping you, guiding you? I’ve been fortunate enough to feel that way my entire life. –It’s true.

Loved by God

From the day I was born, I knew I was special. I mean, I was born on Valentine’s Day, who wouldn’t? Every birthday that rolls around is all about the love I feel from Jesus. I feel honored to be here, how about you? Yes, there were times in my life when I didn’t connect to Him, but I realize He’s always been there for me, always protected me, always loved me. I’ve felt it. How about you?

There’s a reason you are here in the world at this moment in time because God has a purpose for your life. Do you know what it is? Have you figured it out or are you still searching? He orders our lives so that we can know. There are cues that if we are paying attention, we can pick up on. Everything that happens in our lives: our experiences, where we live, who our parents are, even the children he gives us, are a part of His plan, His wonderful plan to draw us to Himself.

You see, God loves us unconditionally. It’s the same way we love our children, because we are His children. He gives us gifts and talents to use to make the world a better place. Are you using yours? What are your gifts? Take some time to pray about it. Ask God to show you what they are if you are still unsure. And then be attentive and watch what He will show you.

Take Action

The world’s a better place because you are in it. Believe it! You have something to learn and accomplish while you are here. You have something to offer the world. Are you asking God to help you? You can begin right now.

Begin by appreciating all that you have already been given. When you wake up in the morning, thank God! Make a list of the things you are grateful for. Ask Him to show you how to make the most of your day. A good place to start is by showing others unconditional love.

This week, remind yourself and others that this world is a better place because you and they are in it. We are called to love God and others. Reach out to someone and let them know that you love them unconditionally. Who wouldn’t love to receive a note or card in the mail or a simple little text message from out of the blue saying they are loved?

Give It All You’ve Got

When we understand that there is a purpose for our pain and suffering, our joy and celebration –everything that happens to us throughout our lives, then we start to understand just how much we matter to God, who created us, and we make the world a better place just by being who he created us to be.

Take the time to write down on a piece of paper, ‘the world is a better place because you are in it.” Put it somewhere where you will see it often. Be grateful for all you’ve been given and then go give each day all you’ve got for the love of the One who created you to live it.

Thanks for following along! I appreciate you. If you are doing the 21 Day Challenge with me from last week’s post, keep going, we got this! We’ll cover it next week and finish strong.

God bless you, friends. The world IS a better place because YOU are in it.–Love, Barb
